Platform & Adapter review

Instead of investing into one platform only, I bought into Flex, Modbox, Toughbuilt Stacktech, Ridgid Pro Gear 2.0, & Packout to try them all. In my opinion, Flex & Modbox are the best for heavy use. Toughbuilt Stacktech products might be the best built, but marketing, accessories & availability at Lowe's is poor. Packout is good & has the most accessories, but is not as heavy duty as Flex, Modbox, & Stacktech and is overpriced IMO for the build quality (not to mention Packout dropped the ball on the production & pricing of the bottom rolling drawer unit). Ridgid Pro Gear 2.0 is a best buy for homeowners & professionals - not as many options & the removable cart is a little lacking in build quality, but the drawer units & boxes are well built. All have their advantages which is why I purchased (and recommend) the Lipich adapter plates. I bought the Flex to Packout and Modbox to Packout adapters. Build quality on both seems fine & tolerances are tight. When I combined the different systems together, there is no wobble. The only thing I can't comment on is durability. The adapters are hard plastic which would seem brittle if they were thin, but these adapters are pretty thick and I believe you'd have to treat them fairly rough to get them to crack or snap. And we'll have to see about wear from repeated removal & installation of different platform combinations, but I think all will be fine. A bonus of the Lipich adapter plates is they come in two halves, meaning you have the ability to install just one half of the adapter plate on your existing box if you want to add something like the Milwaukee Packout vacuum on one side and something else (or nothing) on the other side. Also, communication with Lipich Engineering was great. I emailed them, & the owner replied to my questions right away - Cameron did a great job. The only suggestion I would make would be for LE to engineer a line that included adapters for the Ridgid Pro Gear 2.0 line of products (mainly from Flex, Modbox, & Packout to Ridgid). I haven't really seen anything offered from anybody for the Ridgid line. With the heavier built bottom rolling box options offered by the first three, the ability to add the most economical (& best built for the price) drawer boxes from Ridgid would equate to a great combination. I'll close out with this thought - if you think the price of the LE adapter plates are a little high consider this: If you have the flexibility to combine different platforms, the price of the LE adapter plates are easily offset when you have the ability to purchase component boxes of varying platforms on sale - and there are always good deals to be found. Overall - great product & great service.

Excellent adapter

This is one of the most useful 3-D print adapters to the flex stack pack mobile tool boxes. It allows you to use your existing Milwaukee pack out boxes and connect them to the flex stack pack boxes for transportation and storage.
